What really matters!

This is life. Living each day for God and doing my best for God with every decision that I make.

Time has flown by. Christmas was great, and I'm looking forward to an awesome New Years.

I was watching the movie Click tonight. I thought the moral of the story was really good. There was just one thing missing. Family is super duper important, and it for surely comes before work...but who has blessed us with families...GOD! God comes before anything else.

I once heard an analogy about an empty jar. If you filled the empty glass jar with big marbles is it full? You've stuffed as many in that can fit, with enough space to fit the lid on. Is it full? YES, but then add some smaller marbles. They fit into some of the air spaces that were left from the bigger marbles. Now is it full? I've stuffed it full...so yes! But now, add sand. The sand goes into ALL of the empty spaces...there's no more room for anything else. Now is it full? YES! That's what we need to do with our lives. God is the biggest marbles. Once we have him in there then we can add everything else, and all the rest falls into its proper place.

Now go backwards with this analogy. Put the smaller things in life in the jar first...the sand. Fill it right full to the top...pack it down, now try to fit the big marbles (GOD) in. There's no room left for GOD! And who do we owe for all that we have in life... GOD! He comes first...the rest falls into it's proper place.
