Stone's Hope

Hey everyone. I know that it's been a while since I've written anything, but it's because the internet at this other base, Stone's Hope, is not working very well. We're all working at it but it's not coming along very quickly. We're checking out some options to get better internet up there so hopefully in the future Ill have more access. I will try to email as much as possible right now, but it's very limited.

Life is great. TFNJ (Teacher for the Nations Jamaica) is awesome. I'm learning how to be a teacher plus so much more. The first half ofthe day is spent in the TFNJ classroom. Then from 1:15 til 3 we are with the teachers at the elementary school on the base. After that we have work duty, which is different everyday.

I wasn't too excited about doing this school earlier, but since being on this base now for almost 2 weeks I'm loving it. The weather is alot cooler, which I enjoy, and the people are all so joyful and friendly, and I get to be around children alot. And if you know me at all I love being around children. I am so excited to be learning so much in school too. I'll have to tell you all about what I'm learning another time.

Please keep me in your prayers as I am very busy with school, and I know that it's only going to get busier. Pray for endurance and that I would continue to do my best in class and in everything that I do. Also I am really praying about what I should do after this school. I am thinking of staying at the elementary school and being a teacher, but I want to hear from God exactly what He wants.

Thanks so much for your prayers.

Blessings, Kristen
