ATTACK OF THE TREE!!!

These last 7 days we've had a full campus here at YWAM MoBay!

There was a team of aprox. 130 teens from the states here on a missions trip. As staff here on the base I worked with the small group that stayed here in the morning instead of going on ministry (they switched off everyday). I showed them how to clean the bathrooms, the rec. room, the big worship hall and I worked with them in the kitchen a bit. They were all eager workers and never complained. SOme of them it seemed had never cleaned in their lives, but other than that it wasn't too stressful of a week. It was alot louder than usual but that's about it.

Jermaine and I went on another date last night. We went to the beach to watch the sunset again. And then went to a cute little pizza place near the beach on a road called the "Hip Strip". It's the road with a bunch of touristy stores and restaurants and hotels and beaches. It's really nice. Jermaine likes going there because there's always police monitoring the place to keep the tourists safe, so he feels better knowing that it's safer.

The other day I got in a little accident! Don't worry nothing serious. I was sitting on a toilet and a tree attacked me!!!!!!!!

Alright so that's not the whole story! I was transporting a broken toilet from one place to the other. Jermaine and I had put it in the back of the gator. (the gator is like a four-wheeler with a little truck back to haul things in.) I was sitting on it while it was in the back of the gator to keep it from falling out. So I was a bit higher up than the rest of the vehicle. And I was concentrating really hard on my job of not letting it fall out, when Jermaine drove under a tree and didn't realize how low the branches were, and I wasn't looking and they whipped me in the face. Jermaine now calls me scarface. I have a long scratch on my forehead and on my right cheek. It looks like I got in a mad fight!

It's been a good time here at YWAM MoBay.
Oh and in other news, Jermaine got his license and has been borrowing a car from the lady that he used to live with so it's been fun to not take taxis all the time.

Blessings, Peace out, Kristen
