Most Valuable Lesson!

Here's the most valuable lesson I've learned this week; the best way to learn how to transform communities for God is to just go out and do it!!!

Terry Snow was our speaker this week. He was fabulous. He is the YWAM leader for the campus in Haiti (which is the caribbean nation directly east of Jamaica). He was really great to listen to because everything that he taught on was taught through experience. He had a story to go with EVERY lesson. I heard alot about what it's like to live in one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Terry has had a gun held at his face many times and God has brought him out of those situations miraculously! He has also had encounters with gang leaders, government officials, voodoo practicers and other interesting people. His life is full of adventure.

I got really really excited about missions this week. I am totally where God wants me to be. The passage that has really come alive again for me this last week was Isaiah 61. I feel that God has annointed me to bind up the broken hearted and proclaim liberty to the captives and all that is said in that chapter. I encourage you to read it! It's a really great passage with alot of power! May God be the glory!!!

I also have a praise report. I have been sleeping better lately, not as good as I would like still, but definitely better than usual. Thanks everyone for your prayers, I know they are making a difference.
