Girls Trip!

The time with my friends was AWESOME!

It was amazing having them here. Being able to have "girl talk" all the time and talking about places and people back home was such a blessing. No one here knows people or places back home so it was crazy to be talking about the same things!

We went to Negril one of the first days they were here. It's a touristy city with GORGEOUS beaches. There's a 7 mile long white sand beach that we went to. And it was very wavy that day, which was Kristan's favourite. We also went to Rick's Cafe there, which is gorgeous. It's a place where you can jump off a cliff into the ocean. It's awesome. None of us did it, except my roommate Becky, she liked it. We were too chicken! They still thought it was great there though, it was fun to watch others.

Oh yeah that day everyone, EXCEPT ME, got burnt to a crisp. So the next day we stayed on the base in MoBay and relaxed. They tried ways to cool off their skin, like having about 2 or 3 cold showers!

They had rented a car so the next time I drove us to Ocho Rios, where we went to Dolphin Cove. That was my favourite day. Kristan and tamarah got to have a dream come true and they actually swam with the dolphins. We also got to watch a shark show and some of us touched and swam with sting rays. I also held a snake and a parrot and stroked an iguana. I have tons of pictures but I don't have them with me to put on here. let me know if you want to see them. Then i'll make sure I do, but if no one says anything then I won't!

From there we drove to my base where I live. On the way however I swerved out of the way of a van and hit rocks on teh side of the road and got a flat tire. We had had someone open their car door and scratch our car earlier that day. So it was quite the day! VERY LONG! Some men helped us with our flat tire and then we went to a nearby town and got the damaged one patched. which took and hour and a half. I was so exhausted and I felt so bad. i wanted this trip to be so amazing for the girls, and I was the one driving. Bu tthey reasssured me that they still loved me! I have the greatest friends in teh world! We finally go thome at 10 that night! I drove very carefully the rest of the way!

The next day we went into Mandeville and a man pointed out tha tI had another flat tire. It had a long nail in it! So we got that one patched too! Quite the experience with our very first rented car!

The few days having them at my house was unreal. It was so great that they got ot meet my class and see what my life here is really like. now when i talk about it they know what i'm talking about!

The Saturday before they left we went to Dunn's River Falls. They loved that day too! I'm so glad that tehy had a good time! They got to go where Carrie's parents had been and Michele and Jordan, so they were excited to go back and tell them.

By the end of the trip they were ready to go home. They should've arrived today. I miss them alot! I cried alot today. But it was truly amazing!
