BEING IN JAMAICA!
So i've been here for about 24 hours now and im totally relaxed and i know that it's where im supposed to be. When i first arrived at the YWAM base i had a permanent smile on my face...seeing everyone and looking around at all the familiar things was so great! There were plenty of hugs going around and some screaming too! it was really fun! And i definitely loved seeing Jermaine at the airport, we couldnt stop smiling at eachother, and I couldnt beleive that i was actually looking at him for real. This morning i went to his church with him...the service was over 3 hours. I was telling him about Cornerstone and how it's basically not allowed to go over an hour and fifteen minutes! Jermaine thought that that was pretty ridiculous. And then Jermaine took me to the house where he used to live for lunch, and then i went with him and his uncle to see his grandma who is sick, they were taking her medicine and groceries. It was really hard for Jermaine to see his grandmother like that, but he made it through. So I was out all day today, pretty much, and I'm quite tired. It's not as warm here as i remember it being. I guess it's jsut a bit cooler this time of year. For instance it's 7:45 in the evening right now, and i could use a sweater, adn i have shpants on (for those of you who don't knwo shpants are 3/4 length pants).
It's been incredible to see palm trees again and walk around in sandals and look out from the base at the ocean! I havent taken any pics yet, but as soon as i do, ill have one up on here. I hope ya'll are enjoying the blog, ill do my best to keep it updated. And id love to hear your comments.
Yours Truly!
